Impulse brings together the work of Tell Astargazer and Odin Brierly, two artists whose practices are driven by instinct and expression.

Odin’s paintings emerge through immediacy and subconscious response. Working quickly and intuitively, he uses energetic brushstrokes and mark-making to express ideas without becoming caught in perfection.

Tell’s work embraces the beauty of simplicity, using colour, shape, and form to explore underlying personal meaning connected to his interests, experiences, and background. His colourful works respond to the joy and colour found within Venna’s arts practice and the Studio 92 community around him.
